Biografía
Yahaira es una cantautora y productora musical Colombiana, nació un 6 de agosto de 1986 en Cúcuta N de S Colombia y vivío su infancia en un barrio llamado Atalaya; creció rodeada de melodiás y guitarras; ya que su padre es músico y sembro en ella la pasión musical. Sus padres vieron en ella la gran habilidad de cantar y crear melodiás encantadoras y componer canciones y poesías fascinantes; así que decidieron llevarla a su primer show cuando tenía solo 6 años de edad en el festival más grande de su ciudad en donde cautivo a más de 3.000 personas y fue elogiada y aplaudida con gran aclamación por el público, prensa y televisión. A sus 9 años Yahaira era la voz principal del coro de la iglesia donde su familia asistía; ella diseñava y creaba con sus propias manos cada uno de sus trajes para sus shows y desde muy pequeña siempre fue tildada en su colegio, concursos,periódicos,familia y amigos como Yahaira La Cantante! , La Poeta! , La del Show!
A sus 11 años de edad su padre Hector fue baleado; momento que cambio la vida de Yahaira; ya que su héroe , su padre solo tenia 24 horas de vida según el diagnosticó de los médicos. En el momento de su despedida Yahaira confesó a su padre que ella sabia en su corazón que el sobreviviría y efectivamente su padre sobrevivió al atentado. Los médicos diagnosticaron que el no podría volver a caminar. Cada día Yahaira con su hermano Darwin y con la ayuda de su madre Gladys inventavan nuevas terapias físicas para ayudar a su padre ya que no tenían el dinero suficiente para dichas terapias. Con el transcurrir del tiempo su padre pasó de la cama a una silla de ruedas y después en muletas y después con bastón y hoy en día nada! Momentos tan duros como este marcaron su vida y de está forma su padre le dio la mejor enseñanza de disciplina y fortaleza; de que no importan los obstáculos, ni cuanto tiempo tome para lograr saltarlos lo único que importa es tú esencia y tus deseos de llegar hasta donde quieres llegar; sin parar! llegarás a donde un día soñaste estar. Debido a este acontecimiento su corazón se hizo más fuerte y su espíritu imparable!
Con un corazón viajero y cargado de ilusiones Yahaira llega a Bogota D.C en busca de su sueño dejando en su ciudad natal a su familia. Poco a poco Yahaira se fue codeando con losmejores productores musicales de su país. Con su inmensa curiosidad por ritmos extranjeros y su deseo de crear un nuevo movimiento en donde se pudiese mezclar y apreciar la mágica vibra latina con la diversidad de géneros musicales alrededor del mundo; es así como Yahaira decide partir a los Estados Unidos, New York. Sin una sola gota de duda en su corazón ella sentía que en esa ciudad tan gigante e inmensa encontraría a quien es hoy en día uno de sus managers Bruce Moncada empresario y C.E.O de Daydreamer Records LLC N.Y. quien vio en ella su gran talento como cantautora y su gran disciplina como ser humano y quien deja además ver su pasión por la música cada vez que escuchas su voz y sus canciones.
Con su debut álbum "SEXY" Yahaira fusiona el pop dance; con idiomas como el español e inglés.
New York la capital del mundo lugar fantastico en donde Yahaira se inspiró en cada uno de sus versos y en cada uno de sus chanteos.
"SEXIEST" es una de las canciones que hace parte de esta placa discográfica y cuenta con una colaboración de la artista Norte Americana "Lil Mama" Video musical que hoy se encuentra en rotación en HTV ,MTV TRES,MUN2.
Yahaira creo este álbum con grandes productores e ingenieros de la industria musical que han producido y trabajado con grandes artistas tales como Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, Jay Z, Kanye West, Beyonce, Usher, Puff Daddy, Jennifer Lopez entre otros y con grandes compositores de la música Latina como Wise "The Gold Pen" , Jack Knight y como Productor Ejecutivo Bruce Moncada su manager.

Yahaira Solano, is an urban pop singer - songwriter and music producer most often known simply as Yahaira. Born on August 6th of 1986 and raised in Cucuta Norte De Santander, Colombia,
Yahaira grew up in a musical house hold surrounded by melodies and guitar strums. Her father instilled in her a passion for music. At the age of 6 her parents saw in her a talent for singing and creating melodies and enrolled her in her first talent show that took place during a festival in her native city.
Singing in front of a few thousand people Yahaira received great acclamation and adulation from the public and press.
Yahaira continued her singing, and at the age of 9 became the lead singer for the church in which her family attended. She showed her creativity in songs that she wrote and outfits she would design. From this tender age she was already being called "Yahaira the singer! The Poet! The Entertainer!"
At her 11 years of age, Yahaira's father was shot during an incident. This moment would change her and her families lives forever. Her father, her hero was in critical condition and given just 24 hours to live. While loved ones were saying their last good byes,Yahaira pleaded with her dad to make it through as she prayed! It was not his time to go! He survived and pulled through, however, he was left in a hospital bed unable to move from the neck down. This left her family in economic trouble as her father the main bread winner was incapacitated. Working together they stayed strong and used what they had to get by. Her family was unable to afford physical therapy for her father so they would give him physical therapy daily from techniques they picked up. Over time he went from a bed to a wheel chair and then from crutches to a cain to being able to walk again.
These moments marked Yahaira's life deeply and taught her many valuable lessons in life; Love, Discipline, perseverance and faith! With these understandings anything is possible!
Yahaira moved to Bogota D.C. , Colombia at the age of 17 to pursue her singing career leaving her family in her native city. Yahiara began to record professionally in bogota using some of the best producers in the country. With her immense curiosity of music and her desire to create a new type of sound she decided to move to New York, U.S.A.
Upon moving to the Big Apple she met her manager Bruce Moncada owner of Daydreamer Records LLC. who saw in her, her grand talent, passion and discipline for her craft.
Yahaira combines Pop, Rap and Dance music in spanish and english in Her debut album "Sexy". New York the capital of the world is where Yahaira was inspired to write her album and record her tracks with some of the best professionals in the game. Yahaira Wrote this album along with Wise "The Gold Pen" (who has written hit songs such as "Noche de entiero" sung by Daddy yankee, Wisin Y Yandel and Tony tune tune, "Down" sung by Rakim and Ken Y, "Zun Dada" sung by Zion ,
"Hasta el sol de hoy" by Edgar Joel, just to name a few) and Jack Knight (who has written hit songs such as "let it go" sung by Keyshia Cole and "last night" sung by Puff Daddy and Keyshia Cole,

"Sexiest" is the first single of her debut album Sexy in which Yahaira collaborates with rapper-singer Lil Mama. Yahaira designs all of her outfits including the ones for
the video "SEXIEST" as she likes to project her music in conjunction with her wear. Yahaira expresses the Confident, Sensual and Daring side of a latin woman!
